BEES
Someone says "When this planet has no longer any bees, this planet has no longer humans" and to be honest this sentence scares me as a mother of three. A mother who wants to build a future for their kids, a nature where bees and humans are able to live in. And so I decided to do my own little thing to help and to support those important little animals. I started with beecourses in summer 2017 and with receiving the certificate in this spring our family received the first two hives. We decided for Carnica as those bees are tend to be calm bees. And already the preparation period was such a huge learning process for our family. We read together the book "Kleine Biene Sonnenstrahl" by Jakob Streit. This books gives a lot of insight knowledge about the bees as a community and is perfect for kids with minimum age of 5 (I would say). We as adults read a lot, watched the movie "more than honey" but as always the best learning are the bees themselv
