Renovation with Rebelwalls

Renovating your house is something you do 24 hours - even when you dream, you dream from wallpapers, lamps, new baseboards and all that items you need or not need. You schedule your free days according to your current renovation projects. And not to forget the third parties involved. They have their own schedules and you always feel that you forgot to call or to order something. Something I really do like about this process is the way the family works together on one project. You discuss your aims, you discuss what is important to order (what maybe not), each one has got dreams and wishes. And so we tried to involve our kids in the process from the first moment on. We ask them about their dreams. We sit together and draw together and they are allowed to help. They help to pull the old wallpaper down - but first - before it gets down - they love to paint the old one. It is a kind or ritual to think about one big picture, we all draw. We leave that for a couple of days before everyone says its time to start, to start with the real work. And yes finally when its done, when you have a fresh room its so good to step into it, to embrace this emptyness and to fill it again with life.
